Intures is currently carrying out a challenging project in the PAA hall of the hot strip at Tata Steel. We are responsible for project management and the quality & safety supervision for the replacement of the crane rails of the more than 200 meter long crane track. A total of 400 meters of rails will be renewed, defects will also be repaired and the crane tracks will be aligned.

To determine the scope of required maintenance activities and their specifications, we first carried out a thorough inspection. This enabled us to make an accurate assessment after which we could properly assign the project to a contractor.

The replacement of the crane track will take place during factory shutdown, which is special in itself, because this hall is normally continuously used by several work units. For the period of 2 weeks a team of 3 Intures experts will be on site to smoothly coordinate the project.

In close collaboration with the companies Mammoet, Riwal, Brand and Iemants, we ensure that the crane track is ready for the future again.
